To devise and execute a complete rebranding strategy communicating key messaging about the improved tram services delivered by Nottingham Express Transit following their investment of a £700m government grant. We were tasked with the full creative output, photography and messaging to meet the required brief.
Champions (UK) plc were very successful in giving the whole of Nottinghamshire public a sense of ownership of the NET tram network and establishing it as an important part of the city’s identity. We employed a number of high impact, large scale advertising strategies to generate excitement and enthusiasm around the launch of Lines 2 and 3 of the network, taking advantage of opportunities across all media.
The creative team organised a full day’s photoshoot at an exclusive location in Nottingham, including sourcing of appropriate models for the target audience to tie in the chosen brand messaging. Back in our in house design studio, we centered our key brand messaging on the benefits improved services would deliver directly to individuals across the city. Having identified a wide range of socio-economic groups to target and having devised specific strategies to create impactful campaigns for the regional media. Designs were produced for billboards and six-sheets throughout the city as well as tram shelters and ticket machines.
