Following the success of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, and Farmfoods European Senior Masters, Champions Events are set to take on a new, exciting event in the form of the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship.
The four-day event takes place between 20-23 June 2019 at the picturesque Trevose Golf and Country Club. Located close to the iconic town of Padstow, some of the Staysure Tour’s biggest names will be in action, and this will mark the first time the venue has hosted an official Tour event.
Trevose’s course is a challenge for even the most experienced of golfers. The remarkable sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean offer up stunning views for players on the tees, and having been designed by legendary golf architect, Harry Colt, the course is laid out with two loops of nine holes, offering players a unique experience.
Managing Director, Matthew Hayes, explained his delight at adding another prestigious event to Champions’ growing portfolio.
He said: “Having proven our ability to organise fantastic golf events, including the Farmfoods European Senior Masters on the Staysure Tour and the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, we were delighted to add the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship our list.
"The inaugural event promises to be wonderful golfing occasion, with a whole host of golf legends in action. Trevose is a very special venue to be hosting the event and we are thrilled to be working with the Gammon family and are looking forward to the action getting underway.”
