To design and build a show piece website for a new entrant to the UK construction industry aiming to overturn historic perceptions of the trade. To create and narrative around four business divisions and a commitment to military precision and quality delivery and, importantly, drive new business enquiries.
Our team of UX and UI designers created an innovative website prototype showcasing some of the business’ early project successes and optimising the user journey through the site. Having finalised the sitemap, our writing team then set about creating content that clarified the processes involved in the service delivery of the four separate divisions and explained the UK military principles underpinning the company’s founding ethos. We optimised content for search and ensured it included clear calls-to-action for prospective clients to register their interest via a series of online forms.
The Merriott Chard business has enjoyed a successful growth trajectory in this the first year of operation. Much of that is down to the online visibility we were able to grant the website from the outset. High numbers of inbound enquiries are providing the ongoing pipeline of opportunities both the design and construction elements of the business need during a crucial, early period for Merriott Chard.
