Brief
To manage and execute a high-profile rugby dinner, leveraging the concomitant 2015 Rugby World Cup to raise maximum funds for charity.
Delivery
Booking Leicester City FC’s King Power Stadium, we took care of all technical and logistical issues to deliver a champagne reception for guests on arrival, followed by a three-course gourmet meal. We delivered BBC Sport’s John Inverdale as host and Antiques Road Trip presenter Charlie Ross as auctioneer, plus rugby legends Lewis Moody MBE, Shane Williams MBE and Chester Williams as guest speakers.
Outcome
We were able to secure 20 corporate sponsors and sell out all 450 seats, raising thousands of pounds for Loughborough charity Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
