To design, build and manage a new, user friendly content management system website for a hotel and conference facility, enabling users to tour the building and easily make bookings.
In building College Court’s new site, our web team was able to set out the facility’s full offering in a clear way and to deliver a simple online booking process for interested parties by merging all functionality into one CMS rather than the previous two. We made the site more responsive than its predecessor, making it suitable for mobile, tablet and desktop users, and optimising images and text to boost its Google rankings. We also introduced a 360-degree virtual tour function to the site, giving visitors the benefit of added realism and knowledge of what they’d be booking.
With the user experience at the centre of the brief, we have allowed visitors to book rooms and conference facilities in a joined-up fashion. From launch, our work led to a 76% and 70% lift in sessions and users respectively. In addition to the increased traffic, the client benefited from greater linger times and a boost in sales.
