Brief
To support the company’s recruitment drive as it embarked on a phase of rapid managed expansion. To deliver fully managed solutions in support of Farmfoods’ internal engagement and training conferences.
Delivery
Given the nationwide nature of the frozen food specialist’s growing store estate, we created a far-reaching campaign outlining the full range of new job opportunities and promoting the company’s culture. This involved the successful and cost-effective targeting of communities local to new and extended stores by way of a variety of traditional and digital channels, accessed thanks to our network of media contacts. Managing Farmfoods’ Project Orange initiative, a series of ten staff training and engagement conferences across the country, we sourced each venue, booked accommodation for all staff, overseeing the running of each event and liaised with venue staff and caterers. As the firm sought to instil the company’s standards and values in new employees and inform store managers about the new intake and apprentice schemes.
Outcome
Over the period of our work, Farmfoods grew from a staff of 300 to over 1400 employees. In total, our events were attended by almost 900 new and existing Farmfoods team members, who all benefited from an informative away-day. In the process, the company made significant progress in its drive to make Farmfoods ‘a better place to work and shop’.
