Brief
To create and manage the inaugural Tony Jacklin CBE Wentworth Charity Invitational with the aim of maximising charity fundraising.
Delivery
Our team created all elements of a tournament featuring 24 teams, drawing the likes of Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Steve Redgrave, Damon Hill OBE and actor James Nesbitt, plus star golfers Peter Baker and Paul Broadhurst. Night time entertainment included a showpiece three-course dinner, performances by musical legend Merill Osmond and Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, and a special auction raising funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People.
Outcome
We were able to secure sponsorship from 11 companies, all of whom wished to be associated with an event of this calibre and prestige, and raised thousands of pounds for Rainbows Children’s Hospice.
