To consult on and deliver a showpiece event to celebrate William Grant & Sons’ status as Official Tournament Provider to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Delivery
We recommended the brand hosted a high-profile charity ball at one of London’s most prestigious venues and used our network of contacts to secure a suitable location and charity to support. We settled upon the concept of a Rugby Legends Ball to be held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and invited The Lewis Moody Foundation to come on board. We secured a number of high profile rugby stars, along with snooker legend Willie Thorne as host, who led a Q&A session during which renowned rugby commentator Ian Robertson quizzed 2003 Rugby World Cup winning heroes, Lewis Moody MBE, Andy Robinson OBE and Kyran Bracken MBE.
Outcome
This was a great warm-up event for the Rugby World Cup, showcasing the brand association to 400 high net worth guests and key William Grant & Sons clients. Moreover, we were able to raise thousands of pounds for The Lewis Moody Foundation.
